Job summary

TYG is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the safe, reliable operation of mission-critical data centres across the United States. Nationwide opportunities exist in Virginia, Texas, and other US locations.

The successful candidate will lead technical teams, manage critical infrastructure, and coordinate vendors to ensure high uptime, safety, security, and performance. Travel between sites across the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in data centre, commercial construction, or related project environments.
• PMP and/or CCM designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day data centre operations and technical teams.
• Oversee critical electrical, mechanical, cooling, UPS, generator, and facility systems.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Lead incident response, emergency procedures, and operational risk management.
• Manage contractors, vendors, and maintenance partners.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational standards.
• Support data centre expansions, upgrades, commissioning, and continuous improvement.
• Develop team performance, training, and operational procedures.
• Monitor operational KPIs, reliability, capacity, and performance.
• Travel to multiple data centre locations as required.

Multiple positions are available nationwide, including opportunities in Virginia, Texas and other US locations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead technical teams, manage critical infrastructure, coordinate vendors, and ensure high levels of uptime, safety, security, and operational performance.

Candidates must be willing to travel, as the role may require travel between data centre sites and other company locations across the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be currently authorised to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Experience in data centre, commercial construction, or related project environments.
• LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and ability to read architectural drawings.
• Experience with leases, contracts, and project documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Smartsheet experience beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel across the United States.
