Job summary

Simplify IA, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead client technology projects from kickoff through delivery, maintaining scope, schedules, budgets, and risk management while coordinating onshore and offshore teams.

You will translate statements of work into delivery plans, provide accurate status updates to clients and executives, and mentor team members while pursuing continuous delivery improvements. Remote within the United States; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Translate statements of work into delivery plans with milestones, owners, dependencies, budgets, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage scope, schedules, resources, risks, and issues; secure approval for changes and elevate delivery concerns promptly.
• Keep clients and internal leaders informed through accurate status reporting, decisions, forecasts, and follow-through.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore contributors with Business Analysts and Technical Leads, who retain functional and technical ownership.
• Facilitate planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and client meetings; coordinate testing, acceptance, training, and launch readiness.
• Arrange documented handoffs to the dedicated support team and clarify post-launch responsibilities and support scope.
• Improve delivery practices, mentor colleagues, and partner with Sales when client needs create additional opportunities.

Required qualifications

• Substantial technology project-management experience, typically about 10 years; comparable demonstrated experience will be considered.
• A record of delivering software implementations or application-development projects with accountability for scope, budget, schedule, and results.
• Experience coordinating distributed teams and managing several concurrent engagements.
• Clear written and verbal communication with technical teams, clients, and executives.

Preferred qualifications

Consulting or utility-industry experience; familiarity with Appian or other low-code platforms; PMP, Scrum, or a comparable certification.

This role is remote within the United States. Travel is required as needed for client meetings, workshops, and delivery milestones. Work includes online collaboration and presentations; specific travel and scheduling needs are discussed during hiring.

Remote-work reimbursements require eligible, documented expenses and are subject to a 60-day waiting period and new-hire proration. Statutory sick and safe leave and other required leave and reimbursements are provided regardless of policy limits.
