Job summary

RK Interiors seeks a Project Execution Engineer/Manager for Data Center Projects (Civil Engineering) to lead planning, execution, and monitoring of civil and interior works in the United States. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, MEP teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of civil construction methods, and proficiency with planning tools like MS Project or Primavera.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of project planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, QA/QC processes, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor civil and interior works for data center projects per schedules and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, MEP teams and subcontractors for seamless execution.
  • Supervise site activities including excavation, RCC, masonry, architectural finishes, raised floors and interior fit-outs.
  • Review drawings, RFIs, submittals and ensure work aligns with drawings and specs.
  • Prepare and track project schedules, manpower, material needs, and equipment use.
  • Monitor progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to meet milestones.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance through site inspections.

Project Execution Engineer/Manager Data Center Projects (Civil Engineering)
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and monitor civil and interior works for data center projects in accordance with project schedules and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, MEP teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Supervise site activities including excavation, RCC, masonry, structural works, architectural finishes, raised access flooring, false ceilings, drywall partitions, and interior fit-outs.
  • Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and method statements.
  • Prepare and track project schedules, manpower deployment, material requirements, and equipment utilization.
  • Monitor project progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to meet project milestones.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory regulations.
  • Coordinate procurement and timely delivery of materials to avoid disruptions in project execution.
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, material submittals, and construction documentation before execution.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of assigned work packages.
  • Attend client, consultant, and internal progress review meetings, providing updates on project status and key deliverables.
  • Verify measurements, prepare work progress reports, and certify subcontractor billing.
  • Ensure effective coordination between civil, structural, architectural, and MEP services to minimize clashes and rework.
  • Monitor project costs and optimize resources while maintaining quality and schedule commitments.
  • Support testing, commissioning, snag rectification, final inspections, and project handover activities.
  • Maintain project documentation, including daily progress reports, site records, material logs, and handover documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing best construction practices and promoting a strong safety culture across project sites.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in Data Center, Mission Critical, Commercial, or Industrial Projects.
  • Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, architectural finishes, and interior fit-out works.
  • Knowledge of project planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, QA/QC processes, and construction documentation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple contractors and fast-track project schedules.
