Tasks

About The Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for Procure-to-Pay SaaS Implementations and related consulting services for our customers during their automation journey by doing the following:

  • Own and deliver a successful customer onboarding experience for customers using a Scrum-Fall project management methodology
  • Take ownership of the client onboarding experience by strategizing/coordinating with the customer and our internal team
  • Work directly with the customer’s project manager and executive team to understand their
  • business needs, guiding them in strategic decision-making to maximize financial systems
  • Establish a high-trust relationship with your customers through both project management and product knowledge
  • Establish project scope, plan, dependencies, and timelines for launch, incorporating the different work streams, e.g. change management, integrations, and project phases
  • Influence change within customers to drive the adoption of best practices and successful implementation, deriving optimal value and utilization of the product
  • Predict and forecast risk, and problem-solve by working independently as well as collaboratively with internal and customer stakeholders
  • Meet and exceed quarterly targets or other targets defined by the business
  • Close to go-live, lead the implementation handover to Customer Success and Support
  • Utilize Extropy’s methodologies and best practices to manage ongoing system optimization engagements with customers
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Success with SaaS products, particularly with implementation or digital transformation
  • Industry experience in any of the following: Accounts Payable, Accounting, Procurement, or any Finance function
  • Experience with managing tactical execution as well as strategic consulting, and uses both to establish trust and rapport with customers
  • Ability to lead discovery calls and understand customer needs, and to leverage product knowledge to provide solutions that meet those needs
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Experience working with Asana is preferred, experience with project management software required
