Job summary

Derflan is actively seeking a Mid-Level Project Manager for long-term Microsoft contract opportunities, with roles offered remotely, in hybrid, or in-person. The position emphasizes coordinating cross-functional initiatives, managing schedules and deliverables, and guiding projects from initiation through completion.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 3–5+ years of PM experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of project management experience, preferably within technology or similarly fast-paced environments.
• Prior experience working with Microsoft is required.
• Demonstrated experience managing medium- to large-scale projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Proven ability to manage project schedules, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project lifecycle from initiation through completion, ensuring successful delivery in alignment with client objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource requirements, and supporting documentation.
• Drive project schedules and monitor progress against established milestones and deliverables.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating when appropriate.
• Produce clear and timely project status reports, updates, presentations, and other stakeholder communications.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across project teams, business partners, and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with business objectives.
• Support decision-making by gathering, organizing, and presenting relevant project data and insights.

Title: Mid-Level Project Manager – Long-Term Microsoft Contract Opportunities

Compensation is tailored to meet individual salary requirements, with roles generally ranging from $75,000 to $175,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and the specific opportunity. Final compensation for each position is determined by our client's budget; however, we will not consider you for roles that fall below your specified base salary requirements.

Contract Duration:

Our Microsoft roles are typically structured as 12- to 18-month contracts, providing substantial engagement and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact over an extended period.
