Title:

Cloud Solutions Architect – Future Consulting Opportunities

Location:

Compensation is tailored to meet individual salary requirements, with Cloud Solutions Architect opportunities generally ranging from $205,000 to $270,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and the specific opportunity. Final compensation for each position is determined by our client's budget; however, we will not consider you for roles that fall below your specified base salary requirements.

Contract Duration:

Our client engagements are typically structured as long-term consulting contracts of 12+ months, providing substantial engagement and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact cloud initiatives over a meaningful period.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Solution Architecture & Customer Engagement

• Partner with account teams and enterprise customers to design scalable, secure, resilient, and highly available cloud architectures that support business objectives.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture discussions, proof-of-concept activities, and solution design engagements.
• Help customers optimize workloads across AI, enterprise applications, infrastructure, and modern cloud environments.
• Recommend cloud architectures aligned with long-term business objectives while balancing technical excellence, scalability, performance, and customer requirements.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer engagement lifecycle.

Partner Enablement & Technical Go-to-Market

• Collaborate with partner teams, go-to-market organizations, account teams, and technical stakeholders to accelerate cloud adoption.
• Develop technical enablement materials, customer success stories, best practices, technical presentations, and solution guidance.
• Support internal field teams by educating stakeholders on cloud solutions, technical differentiators, and customer value propositions.
• Help strengthen strategic partnerships by contributing to technical strategy, enablement, and go-to-market initiatives.

Technical Strategy & Cloud Optimization

• Design and recommend cloud architectures that improve scalability, reliability, performance, security, and operational efficiency.
• Support benchmarking, workload optimization, proof-of-performance activities, and technical validation efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate customer workloads and recommend cloud optimization strategies.
• Contribute to technical documentation, architecture guidance, and cloud best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with engineering, partner organizations, account teams, sales teams, and customer stakeholders to deliver successful cloud initiatives.
• Build strong relationships across highly matrixed organizations while driving alignment and execution.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for both technical and executive audiences.
• Collaborate across organizations to improve customer adoption, technical readiness, and business outcomes.

Technical Thought Leadership

• Develop technical presentations, workshops, architecture documentation, and enablement materials.
• Support knowledge-sharing initiatives across internal teams, partner organizations, and enterprise customers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud architecture methodologies and technical best practices.
• Stay current on emerging AWS technologies, AI innovations, cloud architecture trends, and enterprise modernization strategies.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, or related technical roles.
• Strong AWS cloud architecture experience supporting enterprise customers.
• Enterprise customer-facing technical consulting, solutions architecture, or pre-sales experience.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, sales, partner, and go-to-market organizations.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, modernization, and workload optimization.
• Ability to lead technical discovery, architecture discussions, and solution design engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business and technical recommendations.
• Self-starter with a bias for action who thrives in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting AI, machine learning, or modern cloud workloads.
• Experience working within the AWS Partner ecosystem.
• Technical enablement, technical business development, or partner-facing experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud migrations and modernization initiatives.
• Experience with AWS CloudFormation or other Infrastructure as Code technologies.
• Experience with workload optimization, benchmarking, or cloud performance analysis.
• Experience working with Intel technologies is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
