Ovivo Ultra Pure Water+ by Ecolab invites a Project Manager to join the onsite Mesa, AZ team, guiding major projects from data review to execution while meeting budgets, schedules and safety procedures.

The role requires a B.S. in engineering, 5 years of project experience in water treatment or related fields, travel up to 80%, and strong collaboration, negotiation, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in mechanical or chemical engineering (or related training) from an accredited university.
  • Five years of directly related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in water treatment industry or Semiconductor Wafer Fab environment with UPW & WWT is a plus.
  • No immigration sponsorship is available for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare project data including budgets, procurement plans, material requisitions and schedules.
  • Coordinate with departments to meet deadlines and manage purchasing, fabrication, construction and start-up tasks.
  • Communicate project status promptly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Schedule and conduct project review meetings focusing on scope of supply, cost, construction and scheduling.
  • Advise upper management on project status and safety compliance.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare material requisitions for project buyout and review change orders.

A Project Manager is expected to work as an important member of the project execution team that manages major aspects of projects in accordance with customer requirements, company procedures, established project margins, and committed schedules.

We are looking for a skilled individual that is excited to be a part of changing how the world views our most critical resource - Water.

What You Will Do
  • Review and prepare all applicable job data, including project budgets, procurement plans, material requisitions, project schedules, manpower loading plans in accordance with company procedures.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet scheduled task deadlines, maintain schedule for purchasing, fabrication, construction, inspection, start-up, etc., prioritizing staff workload to meet goals, and assign warranty items to engineering staff.
  • Communicating promptly internally and with customers on project schedule and any issues.
  • Scheduling and conducting project review meetings, focusing on scope of supply, cost, construction, and project scheduling.
  • Advising upper Management of project status while adhering to all appropriate policies and established safety procedures.
  • Perform negotiation with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare material requisitions for project buyout.
  • Prepare and review change order requests.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.
Position Details

This is an onsite role based out of our Mesa, AZ office

Travel to customer job sites up to 80%.

Minimum Qualifications
  • B.S. degree in the mechanical or chemical engineering discipline from an accredited university or other related qualified training,
  • five (5) years directly related experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing projects in the water treatment industry or Semiconductor Wafer Fab environment with UPW & WWT is a plus.

  • A proven record of managing multiple large scale dynamic projects in person and at a distance
  • A proven record of solving problems
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions requiring the use of a variety of variables in non-standard situations
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex industry related documents
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing on a technical level
  • Proficient with MS Office

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay for this role is $85,000 to $100,000 Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
