You will coordinate scope, schedule, budget, procurement, fabrication, and customer communications across engineering, quality, site operations, and suppliers to keep projects moving forward and on track.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related four-year engineering discipline.
  • 8–10 years of project management experience in Oil & Gas, Power, or related industrial sector.
  • Experience managing projects end‑to‑end from initiation through closeout.
  • Strong scope, schedule, procurement, vendor and subcontractor coordination, change orders and freight terms.
  • Ability to read fabrication drawings and interpret design, functionality and requirements.
  • Strong administrative and computer skills (MS Office, Teams, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; high ethics and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Support the successful execution of assigned industrial projects from handoff through final closeout.
  • Coordinate with Sales during handoff to understand scope, budgets, deliverables and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Site Operations, Sales, vendors and subcontractors to keep projects moving forward.
  • Translate applicable codes and standards into clear instructions for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor schedules, budgets, procurement, supplier obligations, and decisions; maintain documentation.
  • Provide updates to key stakeholders regarding progress, procurement, documentation and contract management.
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.

Job description

SVI Dynamics is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the execution of industrial projects from award through final closeout. This role is responsible for helping manage project scope, schedule, budget, procurement, fabrication coordination, documentation, quality requirements, customer communication, and cross-functional follow-up. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically comfortable, detail-oriented, and able to drive projects forward in a remote work environment.

Project Scope
  • Projects or portions of projects valued up to $5 million per project
  • Average annual project responsibility of $10 million to $15 million per fiscal year
  • Approximately 15 to 25 projects per year
Required Qualifications

The successful candidate will bring a strong combination of technical, commercial, organizational, and communication skills, including:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related four-year engineering discipline.
  • 8 to 10 years of project management experience in Oil & Gas, Power, or a related industrial sector.
  • Experience managing projects from initiation through completion, including engineering coordination, procurement, fabrication, shipment, installation, customer communication, and closeout.
  • Strong understanding of scope management, schedule management, procurement, vendor and subcontractor coordination, change requests, change orders, freight terms, equipment shipment, and site execution.
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and understand product design, functionality, and project requirements.
  • Strong administrative and computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organization, negotiation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • High ethical standards, strong ownership mindset, self-motivation, and clear accountability.
Preferred Qualification
  • PMP certification is preferred.
What You'll Do
  • Support the successful execution of assigned industrial projects from project handoff through final closeout.
  • Coordinate with Sales during project handoff to understand scope, commercial terms, budgets, customer expectations, and key deliverables.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Site Operations, Sales, vendors, subcontractors, fabricators, suppliers, and other internal teams to keep projects moving forward.
  • Review customer technical and commercial specifications, applicable codes, international standards, and country-specific requirements, then translate those requirements into clear instructions for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, procurement activity, supplier obligations, subcontractor deliverables, documentation, inspections, risks, open issues, and required decisions.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, supplier quotation records, budget tracking files, schedules, procurement records, inventory records, presentations, and related administrative materials.
  • Coordinate customer inspections at subcontractor workshops, ensuring required certifications, quality records, technical documentation, inspection documents, and release documentation are available.
  • Provide clear, timely, and accurate updates to key stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, procurement status, documentation, contract management activities, and next steps.
  • Serve as a professional day-to-day point of contact for customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership, follow-through, and the ability to manage assigned responsibilities with limited supervision.
