About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of utility-scale and commercial battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. This role requires a strong understanding of permitting, interconnection, and resilience measures to ensure successful execution in a rapidly growing energy storage market.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle of BESS projects, from pre-construction through commissioning.
Manage interconnection applications and approvals with utilities and regulators (including FPL and local utilities).
Oversee EPC partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to technical specifications.
Integrate resilience measures into project designs to account for extreme weather and grid reliability challenges.
Build and maintain strong relationships with permitting authorities, utilities, and community stakeholders.
Provide clear project updates, reports, and presentations to executives and investors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
5+ years’ experience in renewable energy or battery storage project management (Florida/Texas market experience preferred).
Knowledge of interconnection procedures, permitting processes, and utility regulations.
Experience incorporating resilience design for extreme weather events.
PMP certification (preferred).
