Job summary

Pond & Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Engineer or Architect) to join our Federal group in support of our U.S. Air Force program.

This onsite role is based in Cape Canaveral, FL, working with project teams supporting federal facilities. We are looking for a self-starting, driven individual who will lead teams, manage design and construction delivery, and oversee sub-consultants while maintaining strong client relationships and pursuing procurement efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or construction management.
• 5+ years in architecture, engineering or construction organizations.
• 5+ years of Project Manager experience.
• Knowledge of design/construction, contracts, project delivery and client management.
• Experience with procurement processes and procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, or similar software.
• Onsite in Cape Canaveral, FL four days per week.
• Ability to travel and obtain CAC / security credentials as needed.

Pond is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager (Engineer or Architect) to join our growing, award-winning Federal group in support of our U.S. Air Force program. This position will be based onsite in Cape Canaveral, FL, working directly with project teams supporting federal facilities.

Successful Project Managers at Pond & Company operate with a team-based philosophy and are responsible for managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams, as well as overseeing sub-consultants.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
• 5+ years of experience within an architecture, engineering, or construction organization
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• Thorough knowledge of design and construction, contract management, project delivery, and client relationship management
• Experience with procurement processes and procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and/or other relevant software
• Ability to work onsite in Cape Canaveral, FL 4 days per week
• Occasional attendance at meetings and off-site events; must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
• Position may require occasional travel
• Must be able to travel internationally, if required, via passport or other official documentation
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC); access to federal installations may require additional security credentials and the ability to obtain a security clearance
