Job summary

Pond is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Engineer or Architect) to join our Federal group, supporting Navy programs. This role requires leading multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating sub-consultants, and delivering facilities design for federal projects with DoD and non-DoD agencies.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited engineering or architecture degree, a PE/RA registration, 5+ years in Federal project management, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally; security

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• 5+ years in architecture, engineering, or construction, preferably Federal clients (Navy experience strongly preferred).
• 5+ years as a Project Manager.
• Professional Registration (PE or RA) required.
• Thorough knowledge of facilities design and construction, contract management, project delivery, and client relationship management.
• Experience with Federal contracting, procurement processes, and procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and/or other relevant software.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
• Must be able to travel internationally, if required, via passport or other official documentation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC; access to federal installations may require additional security credentials and the ability to obtain a security clearance

About the Position

Pond is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager (Engineer or Architect) to join our growing, award-winning Federal group, primarily supporting our Navy program.

We’re looking for a self-starting, driven individual who will contribute to our strong team dynamic and embrace our client-first culture. This person should have a natural desire to take initiative, lead teams, and consistently exceed client expectations.

Successful Project Managers at Pond operate with a team-based philosophy and are responsible for managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams, as well as overseeing sub-consultants. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design requirements for federal facilities, including both DoD and non-DoD agencies. Experience supporting Navy projects is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture
• 5+ years of experience within an architecture, engineering, or construction organization, preferably supporting Federal clients (Navy experience strongly preferred)
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• Professional Registration (PE or RA) required
