Job summary

Brooksource seeks a Project Manager to lead complex manufacturing and aerospace projects from planning through closeout in an onsite Orlando setting. You’ll own high-visibility projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls while managing scope, schedule, and client relationships.

The ideal candidate brings 8–15 years of PM experience, a background in manufacturing or aerospace, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams through full lifecycle from planning to closeout

• Serve as primary client contact, managing communications and objectives
• Develop and monitor schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans
• Lead procurement activities, RFPs, bid evaluations, subcontracting
• Manage risks, changes, contracts, and change orders
• Coordinate design and construction to meet scope and quality
• Monitor progress and address issues affecting delivery

Join a top 10, 100% employee-owned engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm as a Project Manager, leading complex manufacturing and aerospace projects from planning and design through construction and closeout. This full-time, onsite position in Orlando, FL offers the opportunity to take ownership of high-visibility projects while leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls. You will manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, contracts, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and successfully.

What You'll Do

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams through the full project lifecycle from planning and design through construction and closeout
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and overall execution
• Lead projects supporting manufacturing and aerospace clients and facilities
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders
• Serve as a primary client contact, managing communications, expectations, and project objectives
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and resource plans
• Lead procurement activities, RFP development, bid evaluations, subcontracting, and vendor coordination
• Manage project risks, issues, changes, contracts, and change orders
• Coordinate design and construction activities to ensure projects remain aligned with scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements
• Monitor project progress and proactively address issues affecting project delivery
• Build and maintain strong client, contractor, and stakeholder relationships
• Mentor and guide less experienced project team members
• Support business development efforts, proposals, and client pursuits
• Work on projects that may require access to secure facilities and government environments

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 8-15 years of project management experience
• Professional experience in manufacturing OR aerospace
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project teams
• Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and overall execution
• Experience coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, contractors, and suppliers
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance; an active clearance is not required
• Strong written, verbal, leadership, and client-facing communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in an onsite, collaborative project environment
• Willingness to travel as needed for project and client requirements
• PMP certification is not required
