Job summary

Sage Search Partners in the North Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking a Project Manager for a growing design-build and custom fabrication company. You will own custom projects from design handoff through delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget outcomes and alignment among clients, engineering, and production.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in millwork, exhibits, fabrication, or rollout programs, with comfortable knowledge of construction drawings, materials, and estimating.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of project management experience in millwork, exhibits, fabrication, specialty construction, or rollout programs.
• Strong math, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
• Comfortable with construction drawings, materials, and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the client's main contact, sharing updates, samples, and photos to keep approvals moving.
• Partner with manufacturing to align project needs with production capability.
• Build and own project plans and schedules, tracking deadlines and action items.
• Verify dimensions, materials, and quality against engineering and client specs before delivery.
• Lead kickoffs with Engineering and Operations and join cross-team turnover meetings.
• Source and schedule internal and outside resources, and flag risks early.
• Manage trade show, exhibit, custom fabrication, and multi-site rollout projects.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to travel occasionally to client and project sites.
