Job summary

Diver5ify in Texas (Dallas area) is seeking a Project Manager for High Voltage Substations. You will join the Operations team to deliver HV projects from mobilization to energisation, with exposure to pre-construction and tenders.

The role requires 5+ years in construction/engineering, HV experience at 69kV+, and a strong budget/contract management mindset. You'll lead safety on site, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and help grow toward Senior PM roles.

Qualifications

• HV experience at 69 kV and above is essential.
• 5+ years in construction or engineering, including time as a Project Engineer on HV assets.
• Background in transmission, distribution, generation or utilities.
• Electrical engineering degree, diploma or apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience as the single point of contact on projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage a detailed budget.
• Clear, confident communication with clients, subcontractors and site teams.
• Solid MS Office skills (SharePoint a bonus)

Responsibilities

• Own the project schedule and drive milestones.
• Be the go-to contact for the client and the internal team, handling issues and escalations.
• Run weekly project meetings covering safety, finance, schedule, design and site coordination.
• Lead safety on site, working closely with the EHS team.
• Oversee quality across civil and electrical works, run design reviews and audit subcontractors.
• Make sure the right people are in the right place, and performing, throughout the project.
• Set up and run sites to a best-in-class standard, from preliminaries to final setting out.
• Review contract schedules to make sure scope and requirements are fully captured

Our client is a fast-growing, international HV engineering contractor delivering high-voltage substations across Texas. Investment in transmission, renewables and data centre power is booming, and they’re scaling up to meet it. The role

You’ll join the Operations team, working alongside the Senior Project Manager to deliver major HV projects from mobilisation to energisation. You’ll also support the Project Director on pre-construction and tenders, giving you early exposure to the commercial side of the business and the projects you’ll be leading next.
