*Technical Project Manager*

*Location:* Tampa, FL

*About Us:* Our client is a leading utility company dedicated to providing reliable and innovative services to our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our IT Project Management Office (PMO) and lead a critical project involving the upgrade of our PowerPlan application from the 2018 version to the latest version, along with a migration to the cloud.

*Job Summary:* The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing the upgrade of the PowerPlan application and its migration to the cloud. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams within the utility sector to ensure the successful delivery of the project within scope, time, and budget.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Lead the end-to-end project management of the PowerPlan application upgrade and cloud migration.
* Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, operations, and regulatory compliance teams, to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
* Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
* Oversee the testing and validation of the upgraded application and cloud environment.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for cloud migration and application upgrades.
* Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
* Facilitate training and support for end-users post-migration.

*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
* PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
* Proven experience in managing software upgrade projects and cloud migrations within the utility sector.
* Strong understanding of PowerPlan application and its functionalities.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
