Qualifications

Project Manager – Healthcare Construction (HCAI/OSHPD)

Stockton, CA | Onsite | Up to $185,000

An established national construction and project management consulting firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex hospital construction and healthcare capital improvement projects in Stockton, California. This is an opportunity to manage large-scale healthcare expansions while working directly with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors from project inception through completion.

This position is ideal for an experienced healthcare construction professional with strong HCAI (formerly OSHPD) experience. Candidates with 5+ years of HCAI experience /health care construction in CA and a strong overall project management background will also be considered. Experience managing sitework is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead large healthcare construction projects, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, design teams, contractors, and key project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage project budgets, cost estimates, schedules, forecasts, risk mitigation strategies, and progress reporting.
• Oversee project teams, resolve construction challenges, maintain HCAI compliance, and drive projects through successful completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of project management experience in commercial or healthcare construction.
• Minimum 5 years of HCAI/OSHPD healthcare project experience
• Experience managing hospital expansions, medical facilities, acute care, or healthcare infrastructure projects.
• Site development or civil/sitework experience is highly desirable for one opening.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, PE, AIA, or LEED are a plus.
• Salary : $160,000- $185,000, depending on experience.
