Job summary

A leading Springfield manufacturer is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Project Manager / Inside Sales Representative to join their team. This role blends project management with inside sales in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will build strong customer relationships, prepare project estimates, manage projects through order-writing, and travel regionally up to 25%.

On-site schedule Mon-Fri 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with salary of $22–$25 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years inside sales, project management, or related experience.
• Experience estimating and managing commercial construction projects preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development and sales growth within the region.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and sales reps.
• Prepare and manage project estimates and quotations.
• Estimate commercial aluminum window and door projects.
• Manage projects from inquiry to order processing and completion.
• Collaborate with regional sales reps to identify opportunities and strengthen relationships.
• Monitor KPIs to support business growth.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
• Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively.
• Travel up to 25% within the region.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, generating new business opportunities, preparing project estimates, and managing projects through the order-writing phase. This is an on-site position with occasional regional travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business development and sales growth within the assigned region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers.

• Accurately estimate commercial aluminum window and door projects.
• Manage projects from initial inquiry through order processing and completion.

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to support business growth.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively in all interactions.
• Travel up to 25% within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of inside sales, outside sales, project management, or related experience.
• Previous experience estimating and managing commercial construction projects preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
