Job summary

DNOW is seeking a Project Manager in South Houston, TX, to secure and analyze quotations, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely execution of products delivered. You will coordinate with end users and internal teams to drive successful project outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years in project management and sales, strong sourcing of pipes, valves, and fittings, and familiarity with SAP and MS Office. A results-driven, service-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in project management and sales.
• Strong pipe, valves, and fittings sourcing background.
• Oil & Gas knowledge preferred.
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office - Excel and Word).
• Process, administrative, operations and SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all aspects of assigned Projects.
• Provide superior customer service internally and externally.
• Strategically source material.
• Coordinate with internal support team for order entry and item coding.
• Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers.
• Lead project-related conference calls with third parties.
• Provide reporting to project management team.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Analyze and recommend efficiencies for DNOW and clients.
• Facilitate expeditious movement of material and paperwork.
• Support other Project Managers and Sales Assistants as workload permits.
• Aim for 100% on-time deliveries and 100% order accuracy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accountable for all aspects of assigned Projects
• Provide superior customer service internally and externally

• Provide reporting to project management team
• Be in compliance with all established SOPs
• Analyze and recommend areas where efficiencies and advantages can be gained by DNOW and/or our client
• Facilitate expeditious movement of material and paperwork
• Support other Project Managers and Sales Assistants as workload permits
• Exceed customer expectations in service requirements while maintaining 100% on-time deliveries and 100% order accuracy.
• Maximize operating profits while gaining market share through superior customer service.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Strong Pipe, valves, and fittings sourcing background
• 5+ years’ experience in project management and sales
