Anytime Flooring is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee commercial flooring projects from contract to closeout. You will manage scheduling, budgets, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure profitability, quality, and client satisfaction while meeting contract requirements.

This role emphasizes safety, timely delivery, and effective communication with clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in construction management and 5+ years of construction management

• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Knowledge of commercial systems.
• Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft programs.
• Ability to travel is required.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and scheduling for assigned projects, maintaining schedules and completion dates.
• Prioritize safety, quality, and client contract compliance throughout each project.
• Review contracts, scopes of work, materials, and budgets to understand project requirements and financial goals.
• Manage project budgets and profitability by monitoring labor, material, subcontractor, equipment, and other job costs.
• Review weekly job cost reports, identify budget overruns, and implement corrective actions to protect project margins.
• Coordinate with accounting to provide accurate monthly billing information and validate percent complete.

Job Summary:

The Project Manager oversees commercial flooring projects from contract through closeout, managing scheduling, budgets, vendors, and subcontractors. This role is accountable for project profitability, cost control, safety, quality, and client satisfaction while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations and scheduling for assigned projects, maintaining targeted schedules and completion dates.
• Prioritize safety, quality, and client contract compliance throughout each project.
• Review contracts, scopes of work, material requirements, and budgets to understand project requirements and financial goals.
• Manage project budgets and profitability by monitoring labor, material, subcontractor, equipment, and other job costs.
• Review weekly job cost reports, identify budget overruns, and implement corrective actions to protect project margins.
• Prepare monthly cost-to-complete projections and communicate anticipated changes in costs, revenue, and profitability to leadership.
• Manage vendors and subcontractors throughout the project, ensuring performance aligns with approved scopes, pricing, and schedules.
• Review and approve subcontractor invoices and payment requests, verifying completed work, quantities, and agreed pricing.
• Track change orders from identification through approval, ensuring accurate pricing, supporting documentation, and timely submission.
• Obtain written authorization for additional work and communicate pending or disputed change orders to leadership.
• Coordinate with accounting to provide accurate monthly billing information, verify percent complete, and identify billable materials and approved change orders.
• Support timely collections by helping resolve billing discrepancies, outstanding documentation, and client questions.
• Control avoidable costs by coordinating material deliveries, monitoring inventory, and minimizing waste, rework, and unnecessary trips.
• Maintain complete and accurate project documentation, including schedules, approvals, delivery records, change orders, and closeout requirements.
• Communicate proactively with clients and respond to calls, questions, and requests in a timely manner.
• Provide courteous and prompt service to internal and external customers while maintaining company and client confidentiality.
• Follow operating procedures and ensure teams work efficiently and effectively.
• Manage multiple projects and make decisions that reflect Anytime Flooring’s core values of Quality Service, Drive, Passion, Value, Healthy Culture, and Safety.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• A bachelor’s degree in construction management preferred
• 5+ years of construction management experience
• Knowledge of commercial systems
• Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft programs
• Ability to perform construction related tasks in the field if needed

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
• Ability to pass a background and drug/alcohol screening

• Must have the ability to talk and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
