Job summary

Pipe Strong, LLC a Member of The 3E Family is seeking a Project Manager to lead utility infrastructure initiatives from initiation through closeout. You will coordinate internal teams, contractors, vendors, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

Responsible for safety, compliance, budgeting, and reporting, you will review designs, manage risks, and drive improvements across multiple projects in a field-heavy environment across the United States and Illinois regions.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing utility infrastructure projects across full life cycle.
  • Ability to review engineering designs, construction plans, permits, and specs.
  • Experience budgeting, scheduling, and contractor performance.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of utility construction practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage utility infrastructure projects throughout the full project life cycle.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate internal teams, contractors, consultants, vendors, and utility stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Review engineering designs, construction plans, permits, and specifications.
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status reports to management and clients.
  • Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee contract administration, change orders, and procurement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and utility regulations.
  • Support capital planning and budget forecasting activities.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons-learned processes.

Summary

Required Qualifications

Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • PMP certification preferred.


Experience



  • 5+ years of project management experience.

  • Experience within utilities, infrastructure, construction, water, or related industries preferred.

  • Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and contractor performance.

Physical Requirements
