Job summary

NCNS Communications is seeking a Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of data and telecommunications projects, coordinating all phases to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards.

You will act as the primary liaison between clients and project teams, prepare progress reports, manage documentation, and maintain updated records across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
• Ability to develop and mentor others.
• Strong management skills and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency with PM software including Excel and QuickBooks for ordering and reporting.
• Teamwork and leadership skills with customer orientation.
• Attention to deadlines, detail oriented and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Manage current data and telecommunications projects; create as-built docs, submittals, and post-mortem reviews.
• Track progress against milestones and budgets; prepare reports for management.
• Monitor and ensure quality of program deliverables.
• Develop project packets and participate in project development for new proposals.
• Manage multiple stages of projects and maintain updated systems/records.
• Provide excellent customer service and strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of major manufacturer systems (Siemon, Belden, Panduit, Corning, BICSI) is a plus.

Job description

The Project Manager – oversees the day-to-day operations/progress of projects, ensuring that all phases of the work are coordinated effectively to ensure projects are performing on time and adhering to quality standards. Acts as a liaison between the client and project team members regarding changes or problems. Coordinates all direct communication with client and contractors.

Responsibilities

Manage current data and telecommunications projects, including creation of as-built documentation, submittals, providing test results to the client, and closing the projects with a post-mortem review

Tracks project progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators and prepares and delivers reports to management

Monitors and ensures quality of program deliverables

• Support Quality Control functions; onsite quality control checks, job hazard analysis, safety audits software management on team create weekly safety meeting etc.
• Participate in the development of “Project Packets”

Project development for new proposed projects

Manage multiple stages of projects, keeping systems and records updated

Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Strong knowledge and understanding of Major Manufacturer’s Systems, i.e., Siemon, Belden, Panduit, Corning, BICSI, and others is an unequivocal must is a HUGE plus.
