San Bernardino County Fire Department seeks an experienced Special Districts Project Manager to oversee design and construction for facilities, roads, and water systems. Official Job Title: Special Districts Project Manager
Physical: Frequent sitting, walking, standing, bending, and squatting; requires fine manipulation in both hands; occasionally lift and carry 10 to 50 pounds.
Pre-Employment Process: Successful completion of a background check prior to appointment.
Travel: Travel throughout the County may be required. Department vehicle will be provided as needed and when available. Individual must provide a valid California driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance.
Sponsorship: San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.
Possession of a Construction Management or Engineering degree with an understanding of the varied environments and conditions common to San Bernardino County is ideal. Prepared candidate will possess related experience with municipal agencies managing water, sewer, road, and other similar services. Experience with California Public Contract Code is also desired.
