Job summary

Uprite Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Northern California team based in Roseville. You will lead ground-up commercial, industrial, and tilt-up projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors to deliver on time and on budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience with a commercial GC, strong financial and leadership skills, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Project Manager experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Proven experience managing ground up commercial construction projects.
• Industrial and tilt up construction experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
• Oversee project financial performance, including cost tracking, forecasting, billings, and change management.
• Lead owner, architect, consultant, and subcontractor meetings.
• Review and manage contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Coordinate subcontractor buyout and procurement activities.
• Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality expectations.
• Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, design teams, and trade partners.
• Ensure safety, quality, and company standards throughout construction.
• Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and turnover documentation.
• Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers as needed.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong financial, operational, and client management skills who thrives in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do:

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion

• Lead owner, architect, consultant, and subcontractor meetings
• Review and manage contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum 5 years of Project Manager experience with a commercial general contractor
• Proven experience managing ground up commercial construction projects
• Industrial and tilt up construction experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing projects valued from approximately $10 million to $100 million
• Strong knowledge of project financial management, scheduling, contracts, and risk management
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders, subcontractors, and owners
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
