Job summary

Accountants One is partnering with a Commercial General Contractor to recruit a Project Accountant for their Roswell office. This full-time role offers hands-on training under an experienced Controller and opportunities to grow within the finance team.

You will handle job costing, subcontractor pay applications, AR invoicing, and support A/P and month-end close, with emphasis on accuracy and compliance. The position is 100% in-office in Roswell, GA, and requires a proactive, team-oriented

Qualifications

• General Contractor or Construction Accounting experience is a must.
• QuickBooks Desktop experience strongly preferred.
• Procore project management software experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Degree preferred.
• Team player – energetic, self-motivated, and willing to wear different hats as needed.

• Job costing, including Notice of Commencement coordination, accurate documentation, and compliance monitoring
• Subcontractor Pay Application administration – evaluation and entry of pay applications, coordination of lien waiver requests, and compliance monitoring

This Project Accountant will join an established, profitable office and train under an experienced Controller to take on increasing responsibilities. This is a full-time, 100% in-office role based in Roswell, GA.
