Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Project Accountant for its Operations Department in Georgia (Kennesaw or Norcross). This in-person, full-time role will own financial accuracy for project work, from cost postings through owner billings, and collaborate with Project Managers to keep jobs profitable.

Responsibilities include reconciling costs, managing billings, procurement interfaces, and payroll-related field reporting. GAAP experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with GAAP accounting practices and financial reconciliation.
• Knowledge of cost postings, billing and project profitability.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile job costs to ensure accurate, timely cost postings
• Reconcile progress billings and ensure owners are billed on schedule
• Serve as the procurement interface for scheduled material processing
• Work closely with Project Managers to review project financials and flag schedule or cost delays early
• Manage field reporting as it relates to hourly payroll
• Identify and act on opportunities to add value within the Operations Department

Qualifications

• Approximately 3 years of GAAP accounting experience (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Valid driver's license (preferred)
