Job summary

Canyon Point is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee IT project delivery, coordinating with internal teams and third-party contractors. This remote role offers hybrid work with in-office days in Rockville, MD, Boston, MA, or Philadelphia, PA.

You will plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring timely communication and high-quality results for clients. The ideal candidate has strong IT project management skills and proven remote collaboration experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in IT project delivery.
• 3+ years MSP experience, preferably in project related role.
• Experience working cooperatively in a remote environment with other support groups via phone, email and chat.
• Ability to translate technical issues for non-technical audiences in written and verbal form.
• Experience managing IT projects end-to-end and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project scoping including task effort assessment and specifications for equipment.
• Formulate project parameters and assign responsibilities to the appropriate project team member.
• Manage portfolio of active projects including scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring.
• Ensure timely communications and updates are provided to all relevant parties.
• Lead and participate in project meetings to ensure information is communicated clearly.
• Collaborate with Canyon Point support teams to reflect project changes in documentation.
• Identify and resolve persistent issues with technical managers.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored properly.
• Apply Canyon Point project methodology and comply with codes, practices, and standards.
• Monitor KPIs for Project Services performance and quality.
• Provide upstream reporting and actions based on analysis.

Position Summary

As a Canyon Point Project Manager, you will oversee project delivery to ensure clients receive a consistent, high-quality experience. Working remotely, you will manage all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, coordination, execution, and communication. You will provide direction to Canyon Point staff involved in project delivery and coordinate with third-party contractors to ensure projects are completed successfully and meet client expectations.

Location: Hybrid – 2 days pers week in one of our Rockville MD, Boston MA, or Philadelphia PA offices.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 (Full-Time)

Travel Required: Less than 5%

Responsibilities

This position has the following responsibilities.

• Participate in project scoping including task effort assessment and specifications for the project's needed equipment.
• Formulate project parameters and assign responsibilities to the appropriate project team member.
• Manage portfolio of active projects including scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of projects
• Ensure timely communications and updates are provided to all relevant parties
• Actively lead and participate in project meetings (internal and client facing) to ensure that all information is communicated effectively with respect to the project.
• Collaborate with Canyon Point support team(s) to ensure that project changes are reflected in ongoing support documentation and current client environment documentation.
• Work with technical managers to identify and resolve persistent and lingering issues.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Effectively apply Canyon Point project methodology and ensure compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
• Monitor report and action on Key Performance Indicators for Project Services performance, both at a team and an individual level.
• Manage project delivery performance according to metrics, derive actions and plans based on analysis, provide upstream reporting and analysis on Project Services performance and quality
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
