Job description

To provide management oversight for a top 50 nationally recognized glazing contractor for all construction project phases. Including coordinating installers, materials, and equipment; ensuring that specifications are being followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develop a cost-effective plan and schedule for the completion of projects following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.
• Coordinate projects with contractors, architects, owners, and all involved parties.
• Verify complete estimate for the project with a detailed review of proposal specifications, drawings, take-off information, contracting, etc.
• Coordination with CAD throughout the shop drawing process (CAD experience is preferred).
• Assumes responsibility for safety, quality, and productivity of glaziers.
• Monitors the efficient use of materials and equipment and the contractual performance of the project.
• Completes the project within the monies allocated.
• Tracks and controls the schedule as laid out by the contractor. Communicates the schedule to management to coordinate the CAD, fabrication, and labor force scheduling.
• Attendance at construction meetings as deemed necessary.
• Coordination with estimators on selected projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people while maintaining maximum efficiency.
• Performs additional assignments per the direction of management.
• Travel as needed within the market (MN, IA, WI, ND)

COMPENSATION:

• $80,000 - $105.000 + pending ones' experience
