Job description

LINK Public Affairs is growing, and we’re looking for a sharp, organized Project Manager to grow with us. This is a true launchpad role: you’ll sit at the center of large and exciting public affairs campaigns; learning how winning public affairs campaigns come together from the inside. Project Managers who excel here build the exact skill set to advance and grow within the company. We love to promote from within!

The Project Manager supports leadership by owning the administrative, tracking, and coordination work that keeps campaigns and client projects running smoothly. You’ll touch everything: creative, digital, video, production, data, and proposals. If you want broad exposure to agency and campaign work early in your career, this is the seat to be in.

What You’ll Do
  • Compile internal status updates from design, digital, video, and production teams
  • Draft internal-facing versions of weekly and bi-weekly status reports for leadership’s review, editing, and final approval before anything goes to a client
  • Update report formatting and links per leadership’s specifications
  • Maintain and update project tracking software and internal trackers across accounts
  • Track open items, deadlines, and follow-ups across accounts, exercising judgment to flag priority or time-sensitive items to leadership without being asked
  • Set up new projects in project tracking software and internal systems
  • Pull data and audience counts from internal targeting and data platforms as requested
  • Help route and organize rounds of internal edits between the design team and leadership
  • Distribute approved assets internally to the production and digital teams, and to outside vendors such as printers
  • Gather and organize client assets during onboarding (logos, brand guidelines, messaging documents, etc.)
  • Pull pricing from internal teams and vendors to support proposal development
  • Format and assemble proposal documents per leadership’s direction
  • Schedule internal meetings and send agendas
  • Take and share detailed notes on internal calls
  • Follow up with internal teams on outstanding action items after calls
  • Manage shifting priorities across multiple active accounts at once, especially during high-volume periods
What We’re Looking For
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or project support role, ideally in an agency, campaign, or client services environment
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines at once
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, plus comfort learning new software platforms (project tracking tools, data platforms, etc.)
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Team player who can take direction well, work across multiple Project Managers, and adapt as priorities shift
Nice to Have (Not Required)
  • Experience with project management or CRM software
  • Familiarity with digital advertising, direct mail, or political campaign operations
  • Experience supporting proposal development or client reporting
Compensation and Growth
  • Salary range: $50,000 to $60,000, with higher compensation available for candidates who bring relevant experience
  • Clear path for advancement: this role is designed to develop into project management and account leadership as you grow
  • Hands-on mentorship from senior team members and direct exposure to client work from day one
Benefits

We value our team and back it up with a great work environment and strong benefits:

  • Employee health insurance covered at 100%
  • Dental and vision insurance available at a discount
  • Paid vacation
  • 401(k) with annual corporate contribution
