Job summary

CMC Design Build is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Design/Build process for food distribution and processing facilities. You will manage multiple sites, coordinate with design teams and field staff, and ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality goals.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in a Construction PM role, a relevant degree, and proficiency with Procore, MS Office, Bluebeam, and MS Project. This is a full-time on-site role with collaboration across teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a Construction Project Manager role.
• Proficiency with Procore, MS Office, Bluebeam, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Design/Build process for food distribution and food processing facilities.
• Oversee all aspects of the project procurement process.
• Work with the preconstruction team to secure governmental approvals for the projects.
• Work with the design team to develop design details with clients, design team and outside consultants.
• Establish and manage the project schedule.
• Manage CMC field staff.
• Oversee project financial management.
• Train and develop field personnel and assistant project managers.

CMC Design Build is currently recruiting a Project Manager to join our Construction Management team. In this role you will manage all aspects of the construction process and be responsible for project management of two or more job sites. You will plan, organize and control resources for all anticipated and approved construction projects. In addition, you will provide leadership and direction to ensure construction projects are completed on schedule and meet cost and profit objectives. You will be responsible for collaborating with the superintendent on the day-to-day operation at construction site(s) and functions as the company representative to ensure customer satisfaction.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

• Manage the Design/Build process for food distribution and food processing facilities
• Oversee all aspects of the project procurement process
• Work with the preconstruction team to secure governmental approvals for the projects
• Work with the design team to develop design details with clients, design team and outside consultants
• Establish and manage the project schedule
• Manage CMC field staff
• Oversee project financial management
• Train and develop field personnel and assistant project managers

Qualifications:

• Construction Management or Engineering Degree preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar Construction Project Manager role
• Proficiency required in appropriate systems, including but not limited to Procore, , MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Bluebeam, and MS Project.
• Must be dependable, possess a sense of urgency, organized, detail-oriented, possess comfort while multi-tasking, and show strong follow-up skills
• Ability to interact and work closely with team members in a busy environment under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interrelationship skills
