Job summary

Talent Groups in Providence, RI seeks a seasoned project leader to drive client-funded initiatives from initiation through implementation. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage complex workflows, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations across multiple agencies.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in a policy/health field and 8+ years in government-funded programs (Medicaid or public healthcare). Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead management and implementation of client funded projects to meet strategic objectives.
  • Oversee workflows and tasks supporting the Project Sustainability Plan.
  • Develop and implement system and business processes for client projects.
  • Manage operations including risk mitigation to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Prioritize client needs and escalate issues to leadership as needed.
  • Engage CMS, state agencies, and stakeholders; prepare briefing materials and reports.

  • Lead the project management and operational implementation of all client funded projects to ensure they meet the client​strategic objectives.
  • Manage the operational and business work flows and tasks in support of the​Project Sustainability Plan.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of system and business processes need to implement client funded projects
  • Responsible for all operations including anticipated operational risks and mitigation strategy to ensure compliance with state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for effectively managing client priorities and the escalation of issues and key decisions points as needed and as appropriate to​leadership.
  • Participate in the stakeholder engagement process and collaboration with CMS, state agencies, and stakeholders
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree (MPH, MPA, or related field).
  • Project Management Certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master, and/or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid Program​
  • Experience supporting healthcare transformation or grant-funded initiatives.
