Job summary

Jobot in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil construction projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence and top quality. You will plan, coordinate, monitor progress and manage stakeholders throughout all phases.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in civil construction, a degree in a related field, strong knowledge of Procore, and excellent communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on civil construction.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role in construction projects.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of project management software such as Procore or similar.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Ability to lead a team with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
  • PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.

  • Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and design professionals as necessary.
  • Resolve any problems that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances or challenges on site.

Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a Project Manager, you will be playing a pivotal role in the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of projects, while maintaining constant communication with all stakeholders. This role demands a high level of leadership, problem‑solving skills, and a deep understanding of the construction industry.
