Job summary

New Era Technology in Plano, TX is seeking a Project Manager to support IT infrastructure deployment projects. You will lead day-to-day coordination among vendors, engineering teams, and client stakeholders to ensure timely execution of network refreshes, hardware deployments, and site conversions.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years in tech project management, strong MS Office, Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheet experience, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years’ experience in project management in technology and/or infrastructure programs.
• Experience using PC in business environment including MS Office
• PMP certification preferred by not required

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day coordination across vendors, engineering teams, and client stakeholders.
• Track workflow progress using tools like Excel, Jira, Monday.com and Smartsheet
• Ensure readiness for site conversions and maintain accurate status logs
• Assist in oversight of support activities involving routers, cellular devices, SD-WAN appliances, and switches
• Assist in oversight of circuit installations, testing, and turn-ups for broadband and DIA internet circuits
• Act as liaison between field resources and network engineers
• Coordinate bridge technician support and ensure proper activation sequences
• Manage deliverables including before/after photos and cabling documentation
• Provide regular updates to internal and external teams.
• Maintain clear documentation of site status, open items, and deployment milestones
• Participate in intake meetings, sync calls, and deployment coordination sessions
• Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of MS Office suite

• Proficient time management skills; sense of urgency

SUMMARY

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the client in all aspects of the technology infrastructure deployment project they are assigned to. The Project Manager will serve as the primary lead for the Technology Workplace TBD program, overseeing cross-functional vendor collaboration and ensuring seamless execution of network refreshes, hardware deployments, and site conversions across various client locations. This role demands high organizational agility, technical familiarity, and stakeholder engagement.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Program Coordination

• Lead day-to-day coordination across vendors, engineering teams, and client stakeholders.
• Track workflow progress using tools like Excel, Jira, Monday.com and Smartsheet
• Ensure readiness for site conversions and maintain accurate status logs

Technical Oversight

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

4-8 years’ experience in project management in technology and/or infrastructure programs

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Exposure to technology in the financial industry is a plus

Exposure to Monday.com is a plus

Familiarity with network equipment such as routers, switches, cellular devices

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

PMP certification preferred by not required
