Job summary

The Infosys Manufacturing unit is seeking a Technology Project Lead 2 to drive IT programs for automotive and manufacturing clients from Plano, TX. You will own governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery excellence across onsite-offshore teams, delivering modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities include defining objectives, managing budgets, building client relationships, and mentoring delivery leads while applying agile and hybrid delivery practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large, complex IT programs (AMS, AD, transformation, modernization).
• Strong stakeholder management with senior client leadership.
• Experience in onsite-offshore delivery models.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Project Lead 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Define project objectives and scope in alignment with business goals, ensuring efficient delivery in collaboration with stakeholders
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates to ensure alignment and transparency
• Drive process improvement by reviewing project deliverables and incorporating innovative methodologies and tools
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes
• Develop and run project estimates, monitor budget performance, and optimize resource allocation for efficiency
• Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, aligning them with client needs and organizational capabilities
• Engage in planning resource allocation, conduct performance appraisals, and facilitate professional development to enhance team effective
• Scope changes and develop client requirements, ensuring proper estimation, approval, and contractual updates

Required Skill and Experience

• Proven experience managing large, complex IT programs (AMS, AD, transformation, modernization)
• Strong expertise in stakeholder management, especially with senior client leadership
• Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies
• Experience in program governance, metrics tracking, and reporting frameworks
• Solid exposure to cloud migration, application modernization, or digital transformation programs
• Strong financial acumen (budgeting, margin tracking, forecasting)
• Mentor project managers and delivery lead to drive high performance

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure environments and manage multiple priorities
• Lead cross-functional teams across geographies (onsite + offshore)
• Act as a bridge between business, technology, and operations teams

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
