Job description

Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager on behalf of our client, in the Pittsburgh area. As a Project Manager, this role is responsible for managing and delivering industrial projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution and close-out. The position ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

• Manage assigned industrial projects in accordance with approved scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, work breakdown structures, and delivery strategies.
• Lead day-to-day project activities and provide direction to project team members.
• Ensure alignment with contractual requirements and internal governance processes.
• Develop, monitor, and control project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, opportunities, and change events.
• Oversee cost control, progress measurement, and performance reporting.
• Implement corrective actions to address deviations from approved plans.

Industrial & Technical Coordination

• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Manage interfaces between disciplines, contractors, vendors, and clients.
• Ensure industrial safety, quality, and regulatory standards are integrated into project delivery.
• Support constructability, operability, and readiness reviews as required.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

• Lead project meetings and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, partners, and contractors.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and performance feedback to project team members.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

• 4-9 years of project management experience within industrial, engineering, or construction environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, project controls, and governance frameworks.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, risks, and contractual obligations.
• Proficiency with general project management, scheduling, and cost control tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in complex, multidisciplinary environments.
