Job summary

Foundation Personnel Inc. is recruiting a technically proficient Project Manager to support preconstruction and delivery of geotechnical projects across Texas.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, and cost, and ensure safety and quality standards on complex foundations programs. The role requires a Bachelor's in civil/geotechnical engineering and 5+ years in geotechnical construction, with strong communication skills and the ability to interpret geotechnical reports

Qualifications

• 5+ years of geotechnical experience with deep foundations or specialty construction.
• Ability to read and interpret geotechnical reports and construction documents.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops project scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure project completion.
• Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
• Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
• Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
• Responsible for negotiation of the contract and understanding the contract requirements.
• Responsible for submittals, material ordering, pre-job planning and scheduling.
• Identifies and addresses challenges and opportunities to maximize profitability.
• Ensures compliance with all OSHA safety requirements.

Role Description

This is an opportunity for a technically proficient Project Manager to support/run preconstruction and delivery efforts for geotechnical construction projects throughout the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of geotechnical systems (i.e., drilled shafts, auger-cast, deep soil mixing, shoring, ground improvement)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to read and interpret geotechnical reports and construction documents
