Jobbeschreibung

As a Project Manager, you will own full lifecycle delivery, from preconstruction and budgeting to safe, profitable closeout. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will drive project safety, quality, schedule, and client relations across complex commercial, industrial, and mission-critical builds.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout, ensuring strict compliance with safety, quality, schedule, and contract requirements.
  • Direct Assistant PMs, Project Engineers, and Superintendents; partner closely with field leadership to align manpower, maintain optimal crew ratios, and foster a strong safety culture.
  • Oversee project budgets, cost forecasts, cash flow, and monthly billings; manage the end-to-end change order process to protect project profitability.
  • Review plans, specs, and submittals to identify scope gaps or constructability risks early; manage RFIs, equipment procurement, and long-lead material deliveries.
  • Serve as the primary contact for owners, general contractors, engineers, and subcontractors, leading progress meetings and driving collaborative problem-solving to build long-term relationships.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality, maintaining precise, up-to-date project records, contracts, and change communications across all teams.
  • Perform other project management tasks as requested by leadership.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of progressive project management experience in electrical construction or major infrastructure projects; Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of large-scale electrical systems (MV distribution, switchgear, generators, UPS, critical power) and ground-up construction practices, with the ability to interpret complex drawings, specs, and contracts.
  • Proven track record leading project budgets, cost forecasts, schedules, labor productivity, change orders, RFIs, and subcontractor/trade coordination.
  • Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage field teams, partner with GCs and owners, and drive safety and accountability.
  • Experience with Data Center/Mission Critical builds, union environments, Procore/MS Project, OSHA safety training, or PMP certification; ability to travel to job sites as needed.
