Job summary

Haugland Energy Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support construction projects, with a hybrid role requiring occasional travel to sites in Pennsylvania. The team focuses on controlling budgets, processing submittals, material management, and overall project support.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in construction management, a related Bachelor’s degree, ERP experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. Travel to PA projects will be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction management.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred (or considerable relevant Trade Union experience).
• Experience with ERP management and improvements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
• Display initiative, effort and commitment to timely completion of assignments.
• Ability to identify problems, evaluate information, and make informed recommendations.
• Effective communication and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with PM team on engineering plans and suggest improvements/value engineering opportunities.
• Facilitate change orders, prepare monthly budget analysis and projections/cost to complete.
• Manage CPM baseline and updates.
• Manage RFIs and engineering-related inquiries.
• Ensure all project materials are approved, delivered and tracked.
• Coordinate with the finance department to review and evaluate monthly costs.
• Update and maintain the ERP system with current project information.

Haugland Energy Group has an immediate need for an experienced Project Manager with familiarity of power infrastructure projects. This role will be hybrid, remote but with travel to projects in and around Pennsylvania.

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, highly organized individual to join the Project Management team to provide all facets of construction project support, including submittal processing, material management, and budget analysis.

Key Functions:

• Coordinate with the Project Management team on engineering and procedural plans, and suggest project enhancements/value engineering opportunities
• Facilitate the change order process, prepare monthly budget analysis, and projections/cost to complete
• Manage CPM baseline and updates
• Manage RFI's and engineering-related inquiries
• Ensure all project materials are approved, delivered and tracked accordingly
• Coordinate with the finance department to prepare, review and evaluate monthly costs
• Update and maintain the company ERP system with all current project information in the appropriate programs

Desired Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience, ideally in construction management
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred (or considerable relevant Trade Union experience)
• Experience with ERP management and improvements

• Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner
• Ability to identify problems; determine accuracy and relevance of information; use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and make recommendations
