This position coordinates projects from planning through completion, develops timelines and tracks deliverables, monitors decisions and follow-up actions, and helps ensure effective communication and accountability across university leaders, governance groups, community partners, and other stakeholders.This position also provides high-level administrative and event support, including preparing agendas, presentations, correspondence, reports, and meeting materials; coordinating schedules and meetings; and maintaining organized project and institutional records. The Project Manager coordinates CALCI Advisory Board meetings, communications, materials, events, and logistics and supports Executive Council, University Cabinet, strategic-plan initiatives, executive searches, major university events, and special assignments. The position regularly works with sensitive and confidential information and exercises discretion in handling institutional matters.Hybrid remote work may be available after the successful completion of the initial training period. Please note that the remote work policy is subject to change at the discretion of the school or university.Universities of Wisconsin also offers an extremely competitive benefits package for 2026 that includes:* Health plans, currently starting at $45 per month.* 176 hours of vacation per year (prorated for start date).* 36 hours of personal holiday, and 9 legal holidays (prorated for start date).* 176 Hours of sick leave for first 18 months. After this period, employees can earn up to 96 hours per fiscal year. Accumulates without limit and does not expire.* Paid parental leave after six months of continuous employment.* Wisconsin Retirement System (pension) with 7.2% employer contribution for 2026.All employment benefits are subject to change. Follows established change control processes if targets can no longer be met* Prepares regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team## **Department:**Executive Affairs and Chief of Staff## **Compensation:**Starting at $68,500 and commensurate with experience## **Required Qualifications:*** Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution* Professional experience in project management, executive support, administrative operations, or a related area.* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.* Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.* Experience preparing professional correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting materials.* Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work effectively with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders, as evidenced through professional, academic, volunteer, or other relevant experience.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaborative technology.## **Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience working in higher education, government, a nonprofit organization, or another complex organization.* Experience supporting an executive office, governing board, advisory board, or senior leadership team.* Experience coordinating institution-wide projects, executive meetings, or major events.* Knowledge of project-management methods and tools.* Project-management certification or related professional development.* Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Workday, or similar enterprise systems.## **How to Apply:**## Applicants must submit the following documents using the online application:* Resume* Cover Letter*\\*Please use your application materials to speak to each of the qualifications for this position as listed above.
