Position: Project Manager

Place of Work: Orrvilon Manufacturing Division in Orrville, OH

Holtec International seeks qualified applicants for a Project Manager position in its Project Management department based at Orrvilon Manufacturing Division in Orrville, OH. The Project Manager is responsible for managing project activities related to manufacturing metamic panels, aluminum shims, and assembly of baskets and ancillaries. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with Project Engineers to resolve technical issues with Stakeholders, Project Partners, or Vendors.
  • Assisting technical leadership in executing projects, aligning work plans with project objectives, forecasting, prioritization, and progress assessment.
  • Tracking and approving subcontractor deliverables.
  • Developing purchase orders, change orders, and managing contracts.
  • Leading key project initiatives, developing related documentation and procedures.
  • Mentoring other project team members.
  • Reviewing vendor products and providing recommendations.
  • Interacting with multidisciplinary team members and vendors.
  • Preparing presentations and reviewing departmental deliverables.
  • Supporting organization and tracking of engineering and licensing documentation.
  • Handling logistics for staff and contractors, integrating with Holtec software.

Applicants should be prepared to actively participate in a project-driven, highly integrated engineering team.

Minimum Technical Requirements
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and multitask efficiently.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and proactive skills; reliable in task completion.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and process adherence.
  • Capable of producing error-free documentation.
  • Ability to work in a diverse, challenging team environment.
  • Willingness and ability to learn.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Degree in Nuclear, Electrical, Materials, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • At least five years of experience in nuclear or naval nuclear design/operation.
