About the RoleUpSela Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager for one of our clients in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position will support a formal Project Management Office (PMO) and will be responsible for managing projects throughout the complete project lifecycle.The Project Manager will oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, control, implementation, and closure while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational objectives.This individual will work closely with PMO leadership, business and technical stakeholders, vendors, subject matter experts (SMEs), and cross-functional project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage medium to large and highly complex projects through the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, implementation, and closure.
• Define and manage project scope, objectives, schedules, milestones, budgets, resources, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project (MS Project) and other project management tools.
• Apply Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies based on project requirements.
• Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and within established scope and budget.
• Identify, document, track, mitigate, and escalation project risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers.
• Manage project changes using established change management and governance processes.
• Coordinate activities across project teams, business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, contractors, and subject matter experts.
• Manage vendor relationships, commitments, deliverables, timelines, and performance within the approved project scope.
• Support and coordinate contract-related activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, status meetings, and cross-functional discussions.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, risk and issue logs, action items, schedules, and executive updates.
• Develop and report project metrics for PMO dashboards and leadership reporting.
• Forecast and coordinate resources necessary to successfully achieve project objectives.
• Conduct gap analysis and root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure project activities and deliverables comply with applicable organizational, state, federal, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and milestones clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
• Drive issue resolution and ensure assigned projects remain aligned with organizational strategy, commitments, and objectives.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Strong experience with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience using Microsoft Project (MS Project) for project planning, scheduling, and tracking.
• Knowledge and practical understanding of PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) principles and standards.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues, changes, and dependencies.
• Experience coordinating vendors, contracts, project teams, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
• Strong stakeholder management and meeting facilitation skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex project activities while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a formal Project Management Office (PMO).
• Experience managing large, complex, or enterprise-level projects.
• Previous government, state agency, public‑sector, or healthcare project experience.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or related project management certification is preferred.

Work Schedule

This is a hybrid position based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The Project Manager will work approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, generally within the client's standard operating hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Candidates must be available to work onsite a minimum of three days per week. Additional onsite attendance may be required depending on project needs.

Overtime is not approved for this position.

Contract: Initial 12-month engagement with the option to renew based on project needs and performance.

Interview: Qualified candidates will participate in one interview, which may be conducted through Microsoft Teams or in person.
