Job summary

• Good understanding of technical concepts related to the industry and products/services.

• Interacts with executives, customers, or senior leaders; builds relationships across departments.
• Develops and executes function strategy and allocation of resources across sub-functions.
• Influences and implements short to mid-term strategies (1-3 years) for own function.

Responsibilities

• Plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion.
• Leads/Coordinates and secures required resources and used formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes.
• Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies project problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
• Ensures that project is completed on-time according to the stated specifications and within budgeted costs.
• Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
• Sets the strategic direction for the company
• Takes an enterprise-wide perspective often identified by client definition of executive
• Develops and executes function strategy; Influences the allocation of resources across own function and sub-functions
• Influences and implements short to mid-term strategies (1-3 years) for own function that have indirect impact on business performance
• Interacts with executives, customers, or senior leaders; Establishes collaborative relationships with other departments or functions or external organizations

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in project, program or general management
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
• Project Management Professional (PMP certification) preferred
• Negotiation and conflict resolution skills; ability to create an open environment where conflicts as to project priorities and funding decisions can be aired and resolved in an objective manner
• High level understanding of technical concepts as related to the industry and products/services of the company
• Ability to create and deliver executive-level summary reports and presentations

Compensation Range

The salary range for this position is between $115,000 - $125,000.
