Job summary

Roofing Talent America (RTA) is seeking a Project Manager to own roofing and waterproofing projects from handoff through closeout. The role is based in Maspeth, NY, with travel across the New York metro area.

You will manage budgets, schedules, submittals and procurement while coordinating with field leadership to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction. You will build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, and you will be empowered to influence project planning,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in commercial roofing or waterproofing.
• Strong working knowledge of roofing systems, installation details and construction sequencing.
• Confidence managing projects from handoff through completion, including budgets, procurement and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of roofing and waterproofing projects from estimating handoff through closeout, with Maspeth office-based work and travel to NY metro sites.
• Manage budgets and schedules, oversee submittals and procurement, track lead times and manage change orders.
• Coordinate with field leadership to keep delivery on track and communicate costs, progress and requirements to clients and general contractors.
• Maintain relationships with clients, manufacturers and suppliers to ensure work meets specifications and timelines.
• Contribute to overall project planning, procurement and delivery improvements.

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 DOE + Discretionary Annual Bonus

The role:

You’ll take ownership of roofing and waterproofing projects from estimating handoff through closeout, working from the Maspeth office and attending sites across the New York metro area.

You’ll manage budgets and schedules, oversee submittals and procurement, track material lead times, control change orders and coordinate with field leadership to keep delivery on track. You’ll identify issues early and maintain clear communication around costs, progress and project requirements.

The role also carries direct responsibility for client, general contractor, manufacturer and supplier relationships, helping ensure work meets specifications, quality expectations and agreed timelines.

What you'll bring:

• 3+ years of project management experience in commercial roofing or waterproofing

• Ability to read drawings, interpret specifications and coordinate submittals
