Job summary

thelab in New York is seeking a Project Manager with experience in influencer campaigns and social media to join our team and lead on our largest client. This hybrid role sits between our internal creative and production teams and our clients, coordinating across multiple brands to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will own projects end-to-end from brief to wrap, create and maintain schedules, manage all client communication, and drive proactive problem-solving to keep the team

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Account Manager or Producer in an agency or in-house setting.
• Experience coordinating hybrid account/project management/production roles.
• Excellent scheduling, reporting and client coordination skills.
• Strong communication and proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working with creative teams and production processes.

thelab is looking for a Project Manager with experience in influencer campaigns and social media, both organic and paid, to join our team and work on our largest client with multiple brands and a supportive team.

The Role:

We are hiring a Project Manager to join our team. This role sits between our internal creative and production teams and our clients, and is the lead point of contact on assigned projects and accounts, working across multiple clients. You will be responsible for ownership of your projects from brief to wrap, creating and maintaining schedules, managing all client communication and alignment, critical problem solving and ensuring that your team has what it needs to be successful every step of the way. The ideal candidate for this position has good relevant experience, and outgoing personality and takes pride in always being two steps ahead.

You Will Be:

• Experienced in a hybrid account/project management/production role in an agency or in-house setting
• Able to create and maintain schedules for short-to-intermediate length projects
• Responsible for owning status reports, scheduling and leading videoconferences, client coordination and follow-ups, as some of your daily, routine tasks.
• Well versed in executing campaigns across multiple platforms focused on influencer campaigns and native social media deliverables.
• Comfortable working with creatives with a knowledge of the creative process
• Being a highly effective liaison between client and creative production team is a must, as well as being able to interpret and communicate strategic and tactical feedback
• Collaborative, self-managing, and able to partner well with others
• Proficient and comfortable using technology aids to support planning, routing and collaboration

You Are:

• Equipped with 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Account Manager or Producer in an agency or in-house setting
• A natural leader with excellent motivation and conflict management skills
• Able to own assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery against deadlines
• Adept and passionate about rolling with the punches of a project, and being proactive and available
• Strong project management and organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy and follow-up
• Able to learn quickly and comfortable asking questions
• Able to work well in a team setting.
• Familiar with production processes in video, print and digital workstreams and able to incorporate implications to schedule building and maintenance

Role Details:

Hybrid position - in our Madison Square Park office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday

Role is $70,000-$80,000 commensurate with experience
