Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. in the NYC metro area seeks a Building Management Systems (BMS) Project Manager to supervise installation of BAS/BMS systems in a construction setting.

You will coordinate subcontractors and oversee related on-site activities to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of project management experience in HVAC control and automation, strong communication skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with minimum 5 years of project management experience in HVAC control and automation or equivalent NYC Metro area experience.
• Extensive computer and automation experience.
• Thorough understanding of the construction process.
• Demonstrated track record of completing projects on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and schematics.
• Ability to read and understand project drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication with consulting engineers regarding design, implementation and commissioning.
• Knowledge of Automated Logic controls preferred.

Job Summary

Summary: Control Solutions Group, Inc. seeks a Building Management Systems (BMS) Project Manager to supervise and coordinate installation of BAS / BMS Systems projects in a construction environment. The individual must be capable of supervising installation subcontractors and coordinating related construction activities. Familiarity with controls, BMS, BAS, DDC, Building Automation, Building Management, EPMS and Energy Management Systems is preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Scope

The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing multiple building automation installation projects while developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.

• Extensive computer and automation experience.
• Thorough understanding of the construction process.
• Demonstrated track record of completing projects on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
• Competent working with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and schematics.
• Able to write, edit and understand sequences of operations.
• Able to read and understand project drawings and specifications.
• Have excellent oral/written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with consulting engineers regarding design, implementation and commissioning.
• A knowledge of Automated Logic controls preferred.
