Job description

Summary of job description:

1. Verify necessary supplies are available for your shift
2. Order supplies as needed
3. Inspect materials for packaging
4. Package material per customer specification on racks or in boxes, this includes banding and angle boards.
5. Print labels for materials to be packaged
6. Move material with PIV to appropriate locations throughout facility
7. Must be computer proficient to operate multiple systems and databases:
   1. To retrieve information such as standard operating procedures, customer specs, packing standards, training verification and assessments
   2. For inventory accuracy, such as locating materials and packing supply adjustments
8. Electronically locate material using handheld scanner or PC
9. Input shift notes throughout shift
10. Perform location audit to verify supplies and materials are located properly
11. Operate various PIVs; primarily stand-up fork lift and tugger/tow motor
12. Operate hoists and other overhead cranes used for material movement
13. Maintain area cleanliness
14. Other duties as assigned
