Summary: This is a unique position that requires the understanding of manufacturing environments – people, systems, and equipment.Both technical and soft skills are required to be successful in this position.This is a hands on / boots on the ground position requiring the ability to work with a team to build a plan and then lead the team to execute the plan. It requires working as a third party, thereby interacting with, directing at times, and motiving individuals who are not subordinates, but who are outside vendors, employees of the client, and leadership of the client.Most importantly, it requires the ability to make things happen. This job is all about follow-up and making things happen; therefore, strong communication, problem solving, decision making, and ability to see the big picture; and an action-oriented personality are required.

15.Ability to climb ladders and stairs, stand for long periods of time, travel frequently to vendor sites, work from vendor sites for periods of time based on the job, wear proper PPE as dictated by the job

  • a.Lead daily and weekly project meetings
  • b.Establish meetings at proper cadence with proper attendees based on need
  • c.Ability to capture real time meeting notes and organize/distribute in a professional and timely manner
  • d.Build and manage schedule
  • e.Manage cost tracking/forecasting/reporting
  • f.Create and track engineering instruction logs
  • g.Create and track equipment status memorandums
  • h.Assist in receiving, inspecting and documenting equipment receipt and movement to field for installation
  • i.Manage activities of team in relation to accomplishing project deliverables
  • j.Ensure all tools and processes (IWS and EWP) are completed as assigned to the project
  • k.Manage equipment ordering / drawing / VAT / receipt processes
  • l.Ensure S.O.W.s are produced on time and contain proper levels of information to drive fair and consistent bids (and contain lessons learned and trial data)
  • m.Work with purchasing to manage bid process / review and comment on bids

  • p.Manage day-to-day construction against schedule and provide progress reports/updates
