Job summary

C&G Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned program manager to lead large client initiatives in mortgage and financial services. This fully remote role requires US citizenship or Green Card and aligns with Central or East Coast time zones.

You will manage cross-functional programs, drive third-party service integrations for asset/income verification, and guide PM tool adoption across teams. A Bachelor’s degree is required; PMP/CSM are a plus.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years leading large customer-facing initiatives as PM/Program Manager/Scrum Master.
• Experience with project plans, testing facilitation, large user rollouts, vendor expense tracking, and status reporting.
• Mortgage, lending or financial services experience in a prior role.
• Comfortable with AI tools such as Claude and Copilot and verify their accuracy.
• Conscientious and well organized; flexible about adopting new PM tools.
• Asks good questions to uncover real needs; prioritizes interactions and value over documentation.
• Works independently with minimal direct supervision and drives outcomes.

Job Description:

This person may be running equity prop loan sales, purchases, securitizations and the integrations of the tech platforms under them.

They may also be in charge of integrating 3rd party services for assets and income verification

• Secondary market depth. Correspondent or wholesale purchase, whole loan purchase or sale, investor delivery, warehouse lines, servicing transfers, loan boarding, document custodians, collateral and bailee letters, loan tapes. Servicing transfer work, post-closing or collateral operations, and capital markets operations support count as near matches
• Has implemented a third party verification vendor for income, employment or assets, such as Argyle, Truework, Plaid or the Work Number, from selection through the API or loan origination system integration and into production
• Has rolled one of those out across channels and partners, meaning the borrower authorization and disclosure language, the account linking support, and the change to what underwriting accepts in place of bank statements
• 4 to 8 years running large customer-facing initiatives as a project manager, program manager or scrum master
• Experience with project plans, testing facilitation, large user rollouts, weekly vendor expense tracking, weekly status reports, and scheduling and leading meetings
• No more than one short job, under a year, in the last five years unless it was a clean layoff
• Mortgage, lending or financial services experience in at least one prior role
• Comfortable with AI tools such as Claude and Copilot, and checks them for accuracy
• Conscientious and well organized
• Flexible about using and helping design new PM tools
• Asks good questions to figure out the real need. The interaction and the value added are the outcome. A document is an output, not the outcome
• Works problems with the team first and only brings me in when truly needed
• Runs their own week without daily direction

• Bachelor’s degree required, BS preferred. PMP is nice to have and open to getting it on conversion. Certifications beyond PMP and CSM, and advanced degrees, are not weighted heavily
