Job summary

Mountain Ltd. is seeking a Joint Use Project Manager to lead telecom engineering quality control and client coordination on remote assignments. The role requires a strong engineering background and the ability to manage engineering work with tight deadlines.

You will monitor milestones, allocate resources, coach engineers, and liaise with multiple departments to ensure accurate billing and project success. Remote role within the United States.

Qualifications

• Expert level joint use engineering knowledge and experience.
• Strong telecommunications background including knowledge of equipment and commonly used technologies.
• Proven project management experience with ability to meet tight due dates.
• Strong organization and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver engineering work assignments on time and within profit margins.
• Track milestones and task deliverables within internal systems; generate reports; adjust project schedules as needed.
• Prioritize jobs and allocate appropriate resources.
• Constant review of resource needs to ensure team is adequately staffed at all times.
• Provide one on one coaching / mentoring to engineers to ensure consistency with engineering job standards, procedures, and processes.
• QC incoming engineering work.
• Act as single point of contact with clients for engineering quality and concerns.
• Work with multiple departments to ensure work is paid and billed appropriately.
• Facilitate and conduct internal/external meetings.

The Joint Use Project Manager should possess a strong telecom engineering background and skills to perform quality control for incoming engineering work. The ideal candidate will have an ability to effectively interact with the client and contract employees and understanding of the OSP engineering process.
