Job summary

Qualifications

• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Experience with healthcare, hospital systems, supply chain, or financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organize project activities into manageable work efforts and determine an effective approach.
• Author and facilitate project documents and present updates to business owners.
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, and cross-project dependencies.
• Coordinate relationships with multiple business owners and team members to achieve deliverables.
• Monitor progress and report statuses within timelines.
• Coach team members on tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
• Produce high-quality, professional deliverables per project plans.
• Facilitate toolkit creation to support field implementations.

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Healthcare, hospital system, hospital, supply chain, workforce management, financial services, technical/systems experience a plus
• HCA, HealthTrust, or Parallon experience a plus
• PMP certification preferred, but not required
• LEAN and/or SIX SIGMA certification a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Organize project activities into manageable work efforts for team members, and determine an effective approach to completing the work, as outlined in project plan
• Author/facilitate strategic documents such as Project Charters, Education and Communication plans, and detailed project plans, and present project updates to business owners
• Manage and communicate a clear project scope and motivate team members
• Manage multiple business owner(s) and team member(s) relationships to accomplish project activities
• Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and cross-project dependencies
• Monitor and report on project activities and reporting on statuses within published timelines
• Coach team members to clarify task assignments, milestones, and deliverables
• Identify, prepare, and/or ensure completion of high quality, professional deliverables as required by each project plan
• Facilitate the creation of toolkits to support field-based implementations
