Job summary

TYG is seeking a Project Manager with 5+ years of land development experience to join their civil engineering team in Nashville, TN. You will lead site design tasks, coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, and mentor junior staff to ensure on-time delivery of projects from design through permit submittals.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with strong communication and time-management skills.

Job description

A growing civil engineering consultancy is seeking a Project Manager with 5+ years of experience in land development to join their collaborative team. This position involves contributing to a range of site development projects through design, documentation, permitting, and coordination with both internal teams and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design site layouts, grading plans, stormwater systems, and utilities using Civil 3D.

  • Prepare construction documents, drainage reports, and permit submittals (including SWPPPs).

  • Attend municipal meetings and support the project approval process.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and outside consultants.

  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to project scheduling and deadline management.

Qualifications:
